An animated logo expressing the origin of AEDI’s name, a web and graphic design company based in Kurashiki, Okayama.
We created a simple animated logo/motion logo for our company, AEDI. The concept behind this animation is to express the origin of our company name, AEDI (pronounced as 'A-E-D-I'), which is an anagram of the word IDEA. An anagram is a word play in which the letters of a word are rearranged to create a new word. By simply reversing the English spelling of "idea," you get "aedi." Thus, our company name was derived from this word play, and we visually represented this concept in our animated logo/motion logo.
The inspiration for choosing a name related to "idea" came from reading the book How to Get Ideas by Jack Foster. From there, we decided on the reverse spelling of IDEA, leading to the name AEDI. May we become a company overflowing with ideas, and may we also be a company that not only realizes the best of those ideas but also contributes them back to society.
