Shozo Karato
Shozo is a designer, born in Kurashiki, Okayama, Japan. He became passionate about rugby in high school and went on a rugby study abroad to New Zealand during university. After graduating, he played rugby for 4 years at Sanix. Subsequently, to utilize his love for drawing since childhood, he moved to Australia and studied Applied Design/Multimedia at TAFE SA while starting his career as a freelance web/graphic designer. Upon returning to Japan, he served as an Art Director at Read Net Corporation and founded AEDI Inc. in Shinjuku, Tokyo in 2008. In November 2014, he relocated the company’s base from Shinjuku, Tokyo to Kurashiki, Okayama, where it remains active.
