About Shozo

Born in Kurashiki, Okayama, Japan. Designer.

He became passionate about rugby in high school and went on a rugby study abroad to New Zealand during university. After graduating, he played rugby for 4 years at Sanix. Subsequently, to utilize his love for drawing since childhood, he moved to Australia and studied Applied Design/Multimedia at TAFE SA while starting his career as a freelance web/graphic designer. Upon returning to Japan, he served as an Art Director at Read Net Corporation and founded AEDI Inc. in Shinjuku, Tokyo in 2008. In November 2014, he relocated the company's base from Shinjuku, Tokyo to Kurashiki, Okayama, where it remains active.

Shozo's journey from birth includes living in Kurashiki City (Okayama Prefecture) > Tokuyama City - now Shunan City (Yamaguchi Prefecture) > Auckland (Auckland Region) > Munakata City (Fukuoka Prefecture) > Adelaide (South Australia) > Hiroshima City (Hiroshima Prefecture) > Wakō City (Saitama Prefecture) > Shinjuku Ward (Tokyo Prefecture) > Kurashiki City (Okayama Prefecture). While each place has its charms, all hold special memories for him.

His hobbies include drawing, design, photography, music appreciation, watching movies, walking, jogging, playing Othello, and visiting the sea and mountains. In recent years, he has developed a love for hiking and mountaineering since 2020, climbing low mountains in Okayama and nearby prefectures. Due to a busy schedule last year (2023), he couldn't go hiking much, so he plans to traverse the Northern Alps from Toyama this year.
