Today, July 22, marks the beginning of Daisho, one of the 24 solar terms. Although Daisho traditionally signifies the end of summer on the calendar, it is actually the period of the year with the most intense heat.

This morning, I took a walk around the office neighborhood in Kurashiki, Okayama Prefecture, for about an hour starting at 6:30 AM. The heat was piercing, truly signaling the peak of summer.

It’s been a while since my last blog post.

For the past two months, I have been focused on developing our web service and sub-brand, SimpleTastes. This involves not only designing and creating websites but also considering, creating, and improving various aspects necessary for the service. As a result, I’ve had little time for blogging, despite wanting to write.

Developing a web service requires considering many things I hadn’t thought of before, which has been very educational for future website projects, especially regarding security. I’ve wanted to share these experiences in blog posts but haven’t found the time.

Going forward, I plan to post about development diaries and different topics for a change of pace, such as 3D works created with Blender, graphic design/artworks, and illustrations. I also want to share tips for Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects. With many tips being shared on X and YouTube recently, it has been a great opportunity for me to relearn, having used Photoshop since version 5.5 and ImageReady 2.0. By turning these insights into blog posts, I hope they will be helpful to those using Photoshop and Illustrator. In other words, I aim to write about anything related to our services, recording real experiences and insights from someone actively involved in design and website creation.

I believe it’s important to keep creating and to persevere. Stay strong, and make time your ally, despite the heat.
