AEDI Online Shop Alpha Version
We are excited to announce the launch of AEDI’s online shop, now in its alpha version.
In this release, we want to share insights into the kind of online shopping experience we aimed for and how we achieved it:
- Online shop with the same design as our website
- Online shop with the same domain as our website
- Multilingual online shop in Japanese and English
- Customizable online shop
- Online shop compatible with WordPress
- Cost-effective online shop with reduced fees
- Secure online shop with robust security measures
While it’s now easier than ever to set up an online store using various e-commerce platforms, achieving all the aforementioned conditions can be challenging. Therefore, we chose to leverage WooCommerce, a WordPress-compatible solution known for its high affinity, customization capabilities, and seamless integration with our existing AEDI WordPress site.
Although the current inventory consists of external products (easily configured through WooCommerce), our alpha version is an initial release. Nevertheless, we plan to enhance the shop, develop products related to web and graphic design, and offer them for sale on this platform.
Feel free to take a look whenever you have the time. We are currently in the alpha phase, with beta and official releases planned for the future. Details about the official launch will be shared on our announcement page.
As of today, it’s Tuesday, December 5, 2023. It’s hard to believe December is already here. In Kurashiki, the day is cloudy and cold, making me yearn for the warmth of spring.
