From 2D to 3D. The characters unleash a new charm.

We transformed the characters Jumbo and Corn into 3D using generative AI. Jumbo is a monster character, while Corn is a girl. Their story began back in 2011, when Jumbo was first created as a clay model and the character design for both of them started. At that time, we also created a dedicated logo and envisioned developing a story around Jumbo and Corn, but the project paused after producing only the key visual illustration. Since then, Jumbo gradually found new opportunities to appear—for example, playfully featuring him in the persona settings for our affordable website service, “SimpleTastes.” With this recent 3D transformation, the characters have been reborn with a new charm that differs from their original 2D illustrations. How their story will evolve from here remains undecided, but this 3D conversion may spark new ideas and imagination, potentially marking the beginning of a fresh chapter for Jumbo and Corn.
