Comparison of Completed and Line Drawings for SimpleTastes Characters/Illustrations

We compared the final colored illustrations and the original line art of the character/illustrations created for “SimpleTastes,” AEDI’s sub-brand and sister web design service specializing in affordable website solutions. These characters were designed to represent the personas and target audience for each website service, and the process itself was highly enjoyable. I found myself wanting to keep drawing these characters as long as time would allow. These illustrations are integrated into website designs as part of the visual identity, and we’ve also created animations using JavaScript and CSS. Additionally, we’ve produced different kinds of animations with Premiere and After Effects.

It’s fascinating to see how these elements evolve and how each piece contributes to building the brand.

This time, we used Jetpack’s image comparison block, a WordPress plugin, to showcase the difference between the final illustrations and line drawings. Even though the design is simple, it’s still intriguing to see the comparison. I also appreciate the clean and minimalist design of the image comparison block, free from unnecessary decoration.
