Thank you for your continued support of our services.
We are writing to inform you of the following update to our website data backup policy.
What’s Changing
For sites built on a CMS (WordPress), we have extended the server-side automatic backup retention period from 5 days to 15 days. All other aspects of the policy remain unchanged.
| Before | After | |
|---|---|---|
| Server automatic backup | 5 days | 15 days |
| External storage | Twice a month, 6 snapshots total (approx. 3 months) | No change |
*Actual retention may vary depending on available storage capacity and site data size.
For non-CMS sites, data continues to be saved to external storage at launch and each update, up to 6 snapshots.
When and Who
Clients on our Website Regular Support WordPress and SimpleTastes plans have already been moved to the new policy as of the end of April 2026.
Background
This change was made in response to a plugin-related issue we encountered, and reflects our commitment to providing a more reliable maintenance environment for our clients. For the full story, please see the blog post below.
