This update includes various minor bug fixes, and introduces a new feature: global menus*1 and mobile menus*2 now support hierarchical structures. This feature has been part of our vision for SimpleTastes since the early days of its development, and we are excited to finally make it a reality in Version 4.
With this feature, users can set up menus in the following formats:
- ST Base Top / ST Shrine Top: Dropdown menus for sub-level links
- ST Base Side / ST Shrine Base: Accordion (toggle) menus for sub-level links
Additionally, the well-known “theme switching” feature remains fully functional. For example, the menu hierarchy set in ST Base Top will be preserved even when switching to the ST Base Side theme, allowing smooth operation and design changes. Please note that footer menus display only the first-level links for design and versatility purposes (customization for additional levels is available for a fee).
SimpleTastes also offers a two-week free trial. During the trial, you can explore the demo sites of both ST Base and ST Shrine, experiencing all the features and their usability firsthand. You can also freely switch between the two available themes from the admin dashboard during the trial.
